Probation
UNISON represents the interests of over 5,000 probation workers in England and Wales
We look after the interests of wide range of workers, including: case administrators, managers, cleaners, cooks, probation service officers, hostel staff, unpaid work staff, victim liaison officers and many, many more
UNISON aims to make the police service a better place to work by
- Recruiting and organising effectively in every Probation Area
- Listening to what our members want
- Negotiating better pay and conditions
- Campaigning on issues which are important to our members
- Promoting and pursuing equality and diversity in everything we do
Latest probation updates
UNISON members have voted overwhelmingly in favour of a pay offer that protects incremental progression and shortens pay bands 1, 2, 3 and 4 by one point.
