NEC 2010 by-election

(05/07/10) By-elections will be held for the following vacant seats on the NEC.

Energy Female
Higher Education General
Local Government Male
Police & Justice General

Regional seats
Northern Male
West Midlands Female

National seat
Young Member

The nomination period is now open and will close at 5pm on Friday 6 August 2010.

Paper copies have been sent to branch secretaries who are not on our electronic mailing list

Branches should ensure that the names of the branch chairperson and secretary are current and up to date on the RMS

This is because nominations will only be accepted if they are authorised by the branch secretary and branch chairperson, and these names must correspond with that recorded on the RMS

If your branch is an RMS user this information should be entered locally

If not, please contact your regional office and ask them to amend their records as soon as possible.
